Thank you for taking the time to visit our website! My name is Adam Mikel, and I became the Lead Pastor here at Piney Grove Baptist Church in April of 2023. Before that, I served on staff as the Associate Pastor of Youth and Education. My family and I came to Ardmore in 2008, and the past 15 plus years have been an amazing journey. We have been blessed to be a part of such a wonderful, loving church. I would like to personally invite you to come join our family here at Piney Grove BC!
For a little background, I was born in Opp, Alabama but moved as a child to Florida then Georgia before returning back to Opp as a teenager. I graduated from Opp High School in 1999. After surrendering to God’s call to ministry, I continued my education at The Baptist College of Florida in Graceville, Florida where I graduated in 2006 with a degree in Leadership and a minor in Christian Counseling. I met my wife Heather while at college and we now have two amazing children, Addison and Evan.
